Festival de Cinema de Avanca
Terminou ontem mais uma edição do Festival de Avanca. E este ano, o workshop de documentário, orientado pelos cineastas Jessica Rodríguez (Cuba), Luís Margalhau (Portugal) e Dalia Abuzeid (Jordânia), levou a equipa que eu integrava, a fazer um documentário sobre uma conhecida casa assombrada nos arredores de Avanca... A um dia do festival terminar, tive ainda a oportunidade de estar à conversa com o Sr José Maioto, pessoa ali bem conhecida por todos e muito conhecedor dos moinhos de água, que ainda hoje funcionam graças à sua dedicação. Uma pessoa fantástica de se conhecer. E claro, filmei e gravei tudo. :) // Yesterday was the end of another edition of Avanca International Film Festival. And this year, the creative film workshops, led by international filmmakers Jessica Rodríguez (Cuba), Luís Margalhau (Portugal) and Dalia Abuzeid (Jordan), took my crew to shoot a famous haunted house on the outskirts of Avanca... When there was only one day left of the festival, I had the opportunity to talk to Mr José Maioto, a very well know person by the locals. He his very knowledgeable of the water mills which are still working to this day thanks to his dedication. An incredible person to meet. And yes, of course I shot and recorded everything. :)
